The 21-year-old Liverpool midfielder has linked up with the National League club for the rest of the 2025-26 campaign in a bid to gain further senior experience.
Balagizi, who joined the Reds as an U11 player, has twice been named on the bench for Liverpool's senior side and was part of the U18s team that reached the FA Youth Cup final in 2021.
He has had previous loan spells with Crawley Town, Wigan Athletic and Kilmarnock and now joins Forest Green, who are unbeaten and top of the National League after five matches this season.
