The Liverpool FC Women midfielder played the full game as her country defeated Vietnam 2-0 in Tashkent.

That result confirmed top spot in their second-round group for Japan, who now move forward to the final stage of preliminaries for next year’s tournament.

Elsewhere, Teagan Micah was an unused substitute as Australia, who have also advanced to the final qualifying round, beat Chinese Taipei 3-0 in Perth.
