Fuka Nagano featured for Japan on Sunday as her country claimed a 2-0 win over Uzbekistan in Asian qualifying for the 2024 Olympic Games.

The Liverpool FC Women midfielder started the match in Tashkent and was involved for 45 minutes before being withdrawn at the break.

Elsewhere, Teagan Micah was an unused substitute for Australia’s 8-0 victory against the Philippines in the preliminaries for next year’s tournament.
