Shanice van de Sanden has been called up by the Netherlands for their UEFA Nations League semi-final against Spain, which will take place in Seville on Friday February 23.

Sophie Roman Haug and Yana Daniels are also set for Nations League action, with Norway and Belgium facing two-legged promotion-relegation ties on February 23 and 27.

Roman Haug’s Norway finished third in Group A2 and will therefore meet Croatia, who ended Group B2 in second place, away first and at home four days later. Daniels and Belgium, meanwhile, finished third in Group A1 and will take on Group B1 runners-up Hungary, with the first leg being away.

Teagan Micah and Fuka Nagano will also be involved in competitive two-legged ties, with spots at the Olympics up for grabs for Australia and Japan respectively.

Micah’s Australia will qualify for Paris 2024 if they overcome Uzbekistan over two matches, while Nagano and Japan must defeat Korea DPR. The first legs of those ties will take place on February 24, with the return matches on February 28.

Jenna Clark and Emma Koivisto will compete in the 2024 Pinatar Cup, with Clark’s Scotland and Koivisto’s Finland playing semi-finals versus the Philippines and Slovenia respectively on February 24.

Finland will warm up for their last-four game by taking on the Philippines in a friendly three days earlier.

Niamh Fahey and Leanne Kiernan, selected for the first time since missing last year’s Women’s World Cup through injury, are in the Republic of Ireland squad for friendlies against Italy (February 23) and Ceri Holland’s Wales (February 27).

Marie Höbinger and Austria have friendlies versus England (February 23) and a Denmark squad featuring Sofie Lundgaard (February 28) to look forward to.

And three Liverpool players are set to turn out at youth level.

Missy Bo Kearns and Hannah Silcock have been included in the England U23s squad to face Spain (February 22) and the Netherlands (February 26), while Mia Enderby has been called up by England U19s for matches against France (February 24) and Norway (February 27).
