Here is the key information supporters will need to know ahead of Liverpool’s Emirates FA Cup semi-final with Manchester City at Wembley on Saturday April 16.

Tickets

Tickets for this fixture are sold out – if you do not have a ticket for this fixture, please do not travel to the game.

Tickets are strictly non-transferable and are not available to distribute to other supporters.

LFC reminds supporters to only purchase tickets from official sources in LFC areas of the stadium. Any supporter who is identified in opposition areas will be ejected from the stadium for breaching the FA’s ground regulations and will be subject to LFC’s sanctions process.

Travel advice

Supporters should plan to arrive at Wembley stations no later than one hour prior to kick-off, to allow sufficient time to walk to and enter the stadium.

By road

As a result of planned rail works, all supporters travelling from the north west are advised to use the road network. UK Football Policing Unit have liaised with the National Highways Agency and coach companies to allocate a preferred route for each set of supporters travelling to Wembley.

Liverpool fans travelling by road are advised to take the following route: M62 East, M6 South, M42, M40, Hanger Lane A406 East.

The return journey following the match should use the same route.

Liverpool have been allocated pink parking for cars and coaches. Parking around the stadium is severely limited; parking can be booked here.

FA coach

For any fans travelling on the free FA-provided coach travel, you can find more details on pick-up and drop-off here.

Trains

Supporters are advised that train services are severely limited due to essential engineering works being carried out over the Easter weekend by Network Rail on the West Coast Mainline. On Saturday April 16 and Sunday April 17, there will be no trains running between London Euston and Scotland on the West Coast Mainline. All services on this route will be affected, including between London and the north west. These planned works will also make services operated by Chiltern Railways extremely busy.

Therefore, the FA, Network Rail and Chiltern Railways strongly advise that Liverpool and Manchester City supporters travelling to Wembley should avoid travelling from the north west by train wherever possible and seek alternative travel arrangements.

TransPennine Express is also urging customers not to travel on its services due to strike action by the RMT. Strike action by the Rail, Maritime and Transport Union (RMT) is due to take place over the Easter weekend – Saturday April 16 and Sunday April 17 – with only a very small number of trains in operation. Supporters are being urged not to travel on either of these two days, and instead travel either side of these.

Liverpool FC fan zone

The Liverpool FC fan zone is located on Wembley Park Boulevard, HA9 0FD (opposite the London Designer Outlet). The fan zone will be open from 10am until kick-off. Food and drink will also be available to purchase; the bar will close one hour before kick-off. Please be aware that the fan zone has a limited capacity of 1,500 and is only open to fans who have a ticket for this match.

No-street-drinking zone

Brent Council and its partners are enforcing a no-street-drinking zone on Olympic Way and the surrounding area – it is an offence to drink alcohol in any public place after being asked not to do so by a police officer or police community support officer. Failure to do so can result in a fine of up to £500.

There will still be a wide range of bars, pubs, fan zones and restaurants available to enjoy in Brent before the game – you can find further details here.

The ban on street drinking in public will be enforced by a team of officers from Brent Council, Wembley National Stadium, Wembley Park, the Metropolitan Police Service, Transport for London and the British Transport Police, with fans being required to hand over their alcoholic drinks or face a fine.

Stadium access

Hospitality (Club Wembley) turnstiles will open three hours before kick-off and general admission turnstiles will open two hours before kick-off. Please arrive early at the stadium to allow enough time for necessary security checks, including enhanced searches and bag checks.

Children (14 years and under) must be accompanied by an adult. Children under the age of two will not be permitted into the stadium.

LFC fans are located on the west end of the stadium and will use Turnstiles H, J, K, L, M, N, P for Level 1 Access and K, L, P for Level 5 Access.

Accessibility wheelchair bays will be situated on Level 1, 2 and 5.
