AnnouncementImportant safety and security update for matches at Anfield
Every supporter – across general admission and hospitality – will undergo a search before entering the stadium, and these 100 per cent searches will continue up until and after kick-off. This change will bring LFC into line with other Premier League clubs.
Fans are advised to arrive early at Anfield, with turnstiles opening two hours before kick-off for general admission and three hours before for hospitality, allowing enough time for the necessary checks before entry.
More resources have been allocated at turnstiles to ensure this important safety and security update will have minimal impact on fans' overall match experience.
LFC appreciates the understanding of supporters and asks them to work with stewards and follow their guidance to ensure a safe and secure matchday. In the event that abuse is directed at stewards or any club employee, it will not be tolerated and will result in access being denied to the stadium and possible club sanctions.
The safety of fans attending Anfield is paramount and the club works in close partnership with Merseyside Police and other partner agencies to safeguard fans while attending the match, with a range of measures to keep them safe.
