SECURITY

What security measures are in place?

The safety and security of fans is paramount. Liverpool FC is working closely with Preston North End, and other partner agencies, to ensure your safety and security while attending the game with a range of measures to keep supporters safe.

These include highly trained stewards from Preston and LFC, security personnel, searches and security checks, detection dogs and extensive CCTV as well as other measures that may not be visible.

What time should I arrive at the stadium?

Supporters are encouraged to arrive early, at least 90 minutes before kick-off, to avoid traffic delays, queues and allow for security checks and search procedures.

Queues may be likely the closer to kick-off you arrive. Turnstiles for general admission will open at 5.30pm BST and hospitality will open at 5pm BST.

Can I take a bag into the stadium?

Preston North End's bag policy is bags no larger than an A4 bag are allowed into the ground.

Those bags permitted will be subjected to a bag search on entry point.

Please report anything suspicious while in and around the ground to your nearest steward or police officer.

Please contact a nearby steward during the match and they will be able to escort supporters to the prayer room.

TACKLING ANTISOCIAL AND CRIMINAL BEHAVIOUR

LFC is supporting strong measures across football to tackle antisocial and criminal behaviours within football grounds – including entering the pitch without permission and carrying or using smoke bombs or pyros. These are illegal, dangerous and have serious consequences. They have no place in our game. Anyone involved in these activities will be banned by the club and reported to the police. Love Football. Protect the Game.

Liverpool FC would like to remind all supporters of its commitment to ensure that football remains an environment that continues to provide a welcoming environment to all people, and the club will take the strongest possible action against discriminatory behaviour.

Should you be subject to, or witness, any incidents related to this whilst at Deepdale, please contact your nearest steward or text PNE to 66777 with the stand, row and seat of the offender and the nature of the problem.

You can also report incidents of online abuse and discrimination through LFC's Red Together reporting hub at www.liverpoolfc.com/redtogether.

Liverpool FC is committed to enforcing the Premier League's anti-discrimination commitment, which will see any offenders banned from all Premier League grounds for a minimum of three years.

BANNERS & FLAGS

Contact must be made with the Preston North End ground safety department in advance of the fixture if a banner or flag is being brought to Deepdale.

All banners and flags must have a fire safety certificate. Any banners and flags of discriminatory, political or commercial nature will not be permitted. Banners and flags must not cover any signage or advertising or obstruct the view of other supporters.

Deepdale will always accommodate banners and flags as best as possible and will generally be located in an unoccupied area.
