It is inevitable that services will be cancelled or severely disrupted. It is highly likely there will be very limited services on these days, with no services at all on some routes.
Rail timetables are being amended, so please plan your journeys, consider your options and check before you travel.
Due to planned strikes, Merseyrail will be running a limited train service on Saturday October 1. Supporters travelling to Anfield for the Reds’ game against Brighton are advised that an hourly service will run, calling at selected stations, between 7.30am and 6.30pm.
