The Frenchman earned the honours in matchweek 16 by scoring twice to give Liverpool a 2-0 win at home to Brighton & Hove Albion.
Ekitike saw off competition from Malo Gusto (Chelsea), Erling Haaland (Manchester City), Morgan Rogers (Aston Villa), Bukayo Saka (Arsenal), Ibrahim Sangare (Nottingham Forest), Marcus Tavernier (AFC Bournemouth) and Harry Wilson (Fulham) in a supporter vote.
