InfoHot weather guidance for Foo Fighters shows at Anfield

Foo Fighters will perform at Anfield on Thursday June 25 and Saturday June 27, and with high temperatures expected, fans are advised to follow guidance on staying safe and hydrated while travelling to the stadium and during the show itself.

Before the concert

  • Stay hydrated early and ensure you drink water throughout the day. There are free refill stations available around Liverpool city centre for those spending time there before heading to Anfield.
  • Apply sunscreen and bring this with you, to protect yourself before you leave for the concert. Due to the high temperatures expected, sunscreen will be allowed to be brought in to the stadium but must be travel size (100ml or less) and in plastic containers only. Please note that pressurised or aerosol bottles will not be permitted. Sunscreen will also be available upon entry to the stadium.
  • Small battery-powered fans that fit inside an A5 bag will be permitted to help keep you cool.
  • Attendees are asked not to arrive before doors open at 4pm BST as there is limited shade in the immediate vicinity of the stadium.
  • Wear light, breathable and loose-fitting clothes and consider a hat to help protect your head from sun exposure.

Once at Anfield

  • Fans are permitted to bring one sealed 500ml clear, soft plastic bottle of water into Anfield (no metal or glass bottles are permitted). Reusable soft plastic bottles are permitted but must also be transparent.
  • There will be extra water taps on the pitch and free drinking water will be available at all bars and kiosks inside the stadium.
  • There are a range of refreshments available to purchase both inside and outside of the stadium.
  • If you do not bring your own, sunscreen is available upon entry to the stadium, in dispensers inside, and available at all medical and welfare facilities.

During the show

  • Keep hydrated with the free drinking water available around the ground, available from all bars as well as taps around the pitch to refill bottles.
  • Take note of any signs of heat exhaustion, including dizziness, nausea, goosebumps or suddenly feeling cold. If you do have any concerns, please speak to your nearest steward.

We want all fans to enjoy a safe and memorable experience and by following this guidance and looking out for each other, we can ensure the shows will be another two special nights at Anfield.
