SurveyHave your say on proposed ticketing changes
As part of its ongoing ticketing review, Liverpool FC is looking to introduce improvements to a range of aspects of ticketing during the coming seasons.
Following the club’s recent ticketing survey and ongoing discussions with the Supporters Board, the club is considering a number of changes to current ticketing policies to further enhance the overall experience for supporters and help combat ticket touting.
Prior to these proposed changes, the Supporters Board has expressed a desire to conduct a survey on the potential changes and the club has agreed to publish to supporters directly via email and on club channels.
The survey will include several questions on the proposed policy changes, which have been developed following the club’s survey of the fan base, which highlighted access to tickets and the online purchasing process as primary concerns for the majority of supporters.
The aim of these proposed changes is to improve those concerns for supporters and primarily to help LFC continue to combat the issue of touting, which the club has a zero-tolerance approach on.
The changes the club is looking at include:
- A change to the Members’ sale process for purchasing tickets to improve the journey for supporters
- Possible changes to Friends and Family that may include flexibility to allow supporters to add to their list throughout the season alongside a limit to the number of Friends and Family supporters can have
- Changes to ticket distribution to increase security and allow for fairer access to tickets
- How forwarding of tickets is handled and how, following the initial survey, the club can reduce ticket misuse and provide more transparency over how tickets are used
The Supporters Board survey can be found here and the results of the survey will be analysed and will feed into the overall feedback to help shape any future policy changes, which are expected to be announced ahead of next season’s ticket sales.
