PhotosGallery: Liverpool squad surprise young supporters in Philadelphia

In an event coordinated by LFC Foundation, Make-A-Wish America and Dream On 3, the Reds took time out of their pre-season work in the USA to meet the terminally ill children and their families.

The youngsters had their dreams fulfilled when their footballing heroes dropped in for a chat before they signed autographs and posed for photographs.

Their unforgettable day was completed with an appearance from club mascot Mighty Red and the gifting of tickets for tonight's game against Arsenal at Lincoln Financial Field.
