NewsForever Reds make record donation to local charities - bringing total to more than £500,000
This round of funding to local charities and communities takes the value of donations handed out by Forever Reds since its inception to £590,000 in total.
The funding, distributed in partnership with LFC Foundation, supports initiatives spanning health, wellbeing, and community care to make a meaningful difference to thousands of people across the region.
John Aldridge, chair for Forever Reds, said: “It’s incredible to put this amount of support back into our local community. This is something everyone involved with Forever Reds is incredibly proud of.
“Liverpool FC has always been about more than football – it’s about people, community and looking after one another. To be able to give back in this way, supporting organisations that do such vital work across the city, means a great deal to all of us.”
Jonathan Bamber, chief legal and external affairs officer at Liverpool Football Club, added: “This is a milestone moment for Forever Reds with our record donation and overall donations exceeding half a million pounds.
“Thank you to all the fans who have supported by attending our events and to our former players who continue to support the club and community. We know the donations will make a huge difference to each recipient.”

The latest round of donations of £250,000 will support the following:

LFC Christmas Hampers
For the 2025 festive season, £50,000 went to help fund 2,500 hampers for families across Liverpool, including 50 provided directly to Zoe’s Place.
Forever Reds was established to ensure former players remain an integral part of the Liverpool FC family. The initiative brings together former players to support each other, contribute to meaningful community work, and raise funds for local causes alongside LFC Foundation.
This landmark donation was made possible through Forever Reds events – including their annual Christmas Lunch and Golf Day and the LFC Foundation Legends game.
