Jürgen Klopp speaks of his deep connection to Liverpool the club and place in a special video to mark his receiving the Freedom of the City.

The Reds manager was officially awarded the highest civic honour during a ceremony at the Town Hall on Wednesday evening.

The accolade came as recognition of the success Klopp has overseen during his time in the Anfield dugout so far, which includes seven trophies and 400 matches.

But his relationship goes far beyond the pitch and the sport – as he explained in a short film to celebrate the Freedom of the City honour that can be watched above.
