NewsFaye Kirby joins Aberdeen Women on loan

Liverpool FC Women goalkeeper Faye Kirby has agreed a loan deal with Aberdeen FC Women until the end of the calendar year.

The England U19 international will join the Scottish Women’s Premier League side for the first half of the 2023-24 season.

Kirby, 19, moved to the Reds from Everton Women in September last year, and went on to make her debut in the Continental League Cup before three appearances in the Barclays Women’s Super League towards the end of the campaign.

Her overall progress saw her named the players’ Young Player of the Year for the season.

Kirby will continue to train with Liverpool during the week before joining up with Aberdeen for matches.
