Liverpool FC’s official sustainability partner, SC Johnson, is aiming to temporarily lay nearly 13,000 names of supporters near Anfield in a ‘Walk of Fame’.

On Back Rockfield Road near Anfield and the popular LFC murals, 12,848 names of competition winners will be temporarily sprayed onto the road using reverse graffiti, a water ink technique that will disappear after a few weeks.

The scheme is to celebrate the average number of plastic bottles – 12,848 – that supporters have recycled on each Anfield matchday so far this season, keeping them out of landfill.

In partnership with SC Johnson and Mr Muscle, these bottles are being upcycled into new Mr Muscle products, which are set to launch onto shelves in 2024.
