Harvey Elliott and Fabio Carvalho are among the final 40 contenders for the 2022 Golden Boy award.

The Liverpool pair remain in the running for the annual accolade that recognises the achievements of players under the age of 21 in European football.

The shortlist will be reduced to 20 players next month before a winner is announced by organisers Tuttosport later in the year.
