ReactionDominik Szoboszlai: We didn't want to lose – but it was a tough match
The Reds were beaten 3-2 on the south coast in what transpired to be a topsy-turvy Premier League contest with the Seagulls.
Harvey Elliott netted inside the opening 10 minutes for Arne Slot's visitors, before Yasin Ayari levelled shortly after the half-hour mark.
Szoboszlai then struck in added time at the end of the first half to restore the advantage, though subsequent goals from substitutes Kaoru Mitoma and Jack Hinshelwood earned the home side three points.

On the frustration of not picking up any points...
Of course, I cannot say we are very sad, but of course we didn't come here to lose. We wanted to win. I think we showed also in the first probably 70 minutes that we wanted to show up and get the three points and take it home. But at the end we faced a really tough Brighton team. To be honest, they deserved to win because at the end they worked harder than us, they scored more goals than us and it looks like they wanted more.
On whether Brighton having more to play for was a key part of the game...
It's hard to talk about that. Of course, for us, we have won the league already, but as I said before, we didn't come here to lose. We don't want to lose. As you saw against Arsenal, we also gave everything. This week on Sunday we're going to give everything also because it's the last home game of the season and I think the fans and everybody deserves that they see us play like how we really want to play.
On whether he meant his goal...
No, it was a cross, to be honest. I'm not going to lie! But I'm happy to score and help the team.
On looking forward to getting his hands on the Premier League trophy...
First of all, we have a week of training now and 90 minutes to play. We don't want to lose and we're going to give everything. We're going to fight for the three points still. But at the end of the game, we'll lift the trophy and probably everybody's dream came true.
