Vote nowDarwin Nunez up for Premier League Game Changer award
By Sam Williams
Nunez came off the bench with 77 minutes played at St. James’ Park back in August with, at that stage, the Reds 1-0 behind and down to 10 men following the first-half dismissal of captain Virgil van Dijk.
However, the Uruguayan propelled his side to an unlikely 2-1 victory by burying a pair of clinical finishes, including a stoppage-time winner.
The accolade will be won by the player with the most ‘game-changing’ performance over the course of the 2023-24 season and you can vote for Nunez here before 6pm BST on Friday May 24.
