Jürgen Klopp has revealed Darwin Nunez has a 'chance' of being available for selection against Real Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

The No.27 was forced to leave the field of play in the second half of Saturday's 2-0 Premier League victory over Newcastle United, making him a doubt for the last-16 tie at Anfield.

Nunez, though, could yet be fit to face Los Blancos in L4 for the first leg of the knockout contest.

"There's a chance," Klopp told his pre-match press conference.

"From all the possible scenarios, apart from being absolutely nothing; that's not the case.

"We have to see how he can deal with the pain [and] when we know that, we make a decision."
