The current Reds No.17 crossed paths with the legendary Steven Gerrard as he takes a break ahead of the start of pre-season for 2024-25 next month.

And Jones – who was previously tutored by Gerrard when the pair were respectively player and coach at the club’s Academy – posted a picture of the two to social media.
