NewsCornelia Kapocs voted LFC Women's September Player of the Month
The forward claimed the most votes in a poll of supporters on Liverpoolfc.com after the opening month of the 2025-26 campaign had been completed.
It is the first time Kapocs, an August 2024 signing from Linkoping FC, has won the prize.
"I'm very happy to receive this award," she said at the AXA Melwood Training Centre. "It means a lot and especially because it is voted for by our supporters.
"The fans matter so much for us. We need them so much and it's nice for us when we can do something good for them."
Kapocs started all four of the Reds' fixtures in September and netted a stunning goal in the Barclays Women's Super League opener with Everton at Anfield.
She then kept her place in Gareth Taylor's XI for the meetings with Leicester City, Sunderland and Manchester United.
The Sweden youth international has, to date, scored six goals for Liverpool from 33 appearances in all competitions.
