The Liverpool duo were given the gifts on Thursday by Dan Rooney III, the Steelers' director of business development and strategy.

The Rooney family, founders and majority owner of the Steelers since its formation, has strong roots with Ireland through ancestry and public service.

Those ties remain evident to this day as the team put on several youth football camps in Belfast and Cork last month.
