Federico Chiesa is handed a full debut as Liverpool make nine changes for this evening's Carabao Cup third-round tie with West Ham United.

The Italy forward comes into the Reds XI at Anfield, with only Caoimhin Kelleher and Darwin Nunez retaining their places from the side deployed against AFC Bournemouth on Saturday.

Joe Gomez captains the team against the Hammers.

Liverpool: Kelleher, Gomez, Endo, Nunez, Chiesa, Jones, Gakpo, Jota, Tsimikas, Quansah, Bradley.

Subs: Jaros, Van Dijk, Diaz, Szoboszlai, Mac Allister, Salah, Robertson, Alexander-Arnold, Morton.
