Joe Gomez starts Liverpool’s Carabao Cup third-round tie with Tottenham Hotspur this evening.

The defender makes his first appearance of the season after recovering from injury as Andoni Iraola makes 10 changes, with only Ronald Araujo retaining a place in the XI from the weekend draw with Fulham.
