Alexis Mac Allister returns to the starting line-up for Liverpool’s Premier League season-opener with AFC Bournemouth at Anfield.

The midfielder is the only change Arne Slot makes to the champions’ XI from last weekend’s FA Community Shield clash with Crystal Palace.

Joe Gomez returns among the substitutes, while Hugo Ekitike, Jeremie Frimpong, Milos Kerkez and Florian Wirtz make their league debuts for the Reds.
