NewsCody Gakpo unavailable for Liverpool v Union SG
Jürgen Klopp has confirmed Cody Gakpo is unavailable following the injury he sustained at Tottenham Hotspur last weekend.
The Netherlands international was withdrawn at half-time in the capital having suffered an issue in a challenge shortly before he scored an equalising goal in the Premier League clash.
Asked about Gakpo’s condition at his pre-Union SG press conference on Wednesday, the manager said: “He was injured before he scored the goal. No [he won’t be available].”
