PSV forward Cody Gakpo has admitted he is flattered by transfer rumours linking him with a move to the Premier League but wants to 'focus' on his football.

The 23-year-old caught the eye last campaign with 36 goal contributions for his club across all competitions, form he has carried into this season by scoring 13 times and registering 17 assists in 24 outings.

Such performances resulted in significant interest in Gakpo during the summer transfer window from both Leeds United and Manchester United. Liverpool are another team to have been included in this conversation, with Pep Lijnders described as being an admirer of the attacker.
