NewsCeri Holland wins LFC Women's October Player of the Month
The No.18 secured the award after claiming the most votes in our fan poll on Liverpoolfc.com.
Holland scored a brilliant long-range goal to aid a Subway Women's League Cup victory away at Durham.
Her three appearances for the Reds in October also included an assist at Anfield in the Barclays Women's Super League clash with Manchester City.
"It's obviously really nice to win the award from the fans because their support means everything," Holland said at the AXA Melwood Training Centre.
"It has been a really difficult period but the fans have stuck with us really, really well and it's nice to win it.
"I think we have improved slowly since the season has gone on and that's the main thing."
Why you voted for Holland...
Diane Jones: Always an outstanding performance. She gives 110 per cent every match.
Darren Durham: Ceri might deserve the award for the superb goal against Durham alone (or the cross for Kappy's header v Man City) but beyond the highlights, she merits it for sheer determination - game after game.
Sue O'Brien: Ceri fights for everything during a game.
