NewsCeri Holland voted Liverpool FC Women's Player of the Season

The Wales international topped a poll on Liverpoolfc.com to earn the prize for the first time in her Reds career.

Teammates Beata Olsson and Fuka Nagano were her closest challengers in the results, finishing second and third respectively.

The ever-consistent and versatile Holland delivered four goals and eight assists in 27 appearances during Gareth Taylor's first campaign in charge, which included a run to the semi-finals of the Adobe Women's FA Cup.

This is the latest accolade to be picked up by the No.18, who was named the team's Players' Player of the Year, following Standard Chartered Player of the Month honours for February and March.

Holland, who joined Liverpool in January 2021, has climbed up to joint-second on the club's all-time appearances list in the Women's Super League era on 134 – level with Ashley Hodson and only behind Gemma Bonner (187).
