NewsCelebrating community heroes at LFC Foundation's 2026 Community Awards

The awards ceremony provides an opportunity to recognise and celebrate individuals from across the Liverpool City Region who embody the club's values through their dedication to supporting others and improving the lives of those in their communities.

LFCTV's Peter McDowall returned to host the ceremony as awards were presented by former players Gregory Vignal, Phil Thompson, Natasha Dowie, Becky Easton and LFC Foundation community ambassador Chris Kirkland.

Traitors stars Rachel Duffy and Paul Gorton and members of LFC Foundation's senior leadership team were also on hand to present the prizes.

The room was filled with people who made a significant contribution to their communities over the season through the Foundation's health, learning and employability programmes.

Matt Parish, CEO of LFC Foundation, said: "The Community Awards are always a special occasion, giving us the opportunity to recognise and celebrate the incredible individuals who have contributed to their communities throughout the season.
