NewsCalvin Ramsay agrees to join Preston North End on loan
The right-back is set to spend the next campaign with the Championship side after signing for the Reds from Scottish Premiership outfit Aberdeen last summer.
Injuries restricted Ramsay to two first-team appearances for Jürgen Klopp’s men last term, with his debut coming as a substitute against Napoli in the Champions League tie at Anfield, before his 2022-23 season concluded prematurely following knee surgery in February.
The No.22, who turns 20 in July, won his first senior cap for Scotland last November and also scored three times in six appearances for Liverpool’s U21s.
Ramsay was named the Scottish Football Writers’ Association’s Young Player of the Year for 2021-22 before making the move to Merseyside.
Preston are managed by Ryan Lowe and finished 12th in the Championship last term.
