AcademyBen Trueman signs first professional contract with LFC

The 17-year-old from the Whiston area has been attending the Academy since the age of five.

A first-year scholar with Marc Bridge-Wilkinson's U18s squad this season, he has been a regular figure in central midfield.

Often anchoring the side, he exhibits a fine passing range while also providing a threat from his set-piece delivery.

Trueman has also been capped by England up to U15 level.
