Atletico Madrid have moved to dismiss talk that they will sell forward Julian Alvarez amid reported interest from Liverpool.

The La Liga outfit have insisted Alvarez is not for sale this summer with focus heightened on the striker following 23 goals in 44 games this season.

Liverpool are said to be among a number of clubs across Europe monitoring the situation ahead of the upcoming transfer window.
