LFC WomenAshley Hodson joins Birmingham City Women on loan
The 27-year-old forward will join the Blues for the upcoming campaign as they look to bounce straight back into the Barclays Women’s Super League.
Hodson is LFC Women’s longest-serving player with more than 100 appearances to her name and will continue to train with the club at points every week.
She made her debut way back in 2014 during Matt Beard’s first tenure as Liverpool manager and will be reunited at Birmingham with former Reds Christie Murray and Martha Harris.
Beard told Liverpoolfc.com: “Birmingham are an ambitious club and Ash’s experience will be a real plus for them.
“For Ash, this is a chance to get more game time at the end of the week and keep her match fitness high, while still training with us at times during the week.”
