Liverpool’s head coach led his team to three victories from three top-flight outings last month, against AFC Bournemouth, Newcastle United and Arsenal respectively.

The champions therefore headed into the September international break as the only side in the division with a 100 per cent winning record this season.

Slot, who last won the award in November 2024, was recognised ahead of the other three nominees, Regis Le Bris, Enzo Maresca and David Moyes.
