The Liverpool goalkeeper has been nominated for his stunning stop that foiled Miguel Almiron during his team’s 2-1 win over Newcastle United at St. James’ Park in August.

The Reds were 1-0 down and had seen captain Virgil van Dijk sent off when Alisson somehow managed to deny Almiron from putting Newcastle further ahead.

Darwin Nunez would later, of course, come off the bench to score two late goals and snatch an incredible 2-1 victory.
