Alexis Mac Allister's terrific form has been recognised with a nomination for Premier League Player of the Month in April.

The Argentina midfielder started all five of Liverpool's fixtures during the month as they clinched the Premier League title.

Mac Allister scored two terrific goals – long-range strikes against Fulham and Tottenham Hotspur – and also set up Virgil van Dijk's late winner versus West Ham United.

He appears on the shortlist for the award alongside Rayan Ait-Nouri, Harvey Barnes, Jacob Murphy, Morgan Rogers, Ryan Sessegnon and Jorgen Strand Larsen.
