By Andy Kelly
The 17-year-old midfielder joined the Reds as an U11 after being spotted playing grassroots football in Manchester.
He has progressed through the ranks in Kirkby and is now a regular member of Marc Bridge-Wilkinson’s U18 squad.
Known to all at the Academy as ‘Fola’, Onanuga is a talented player who links the game well and looks to have a positive impact in the attacking third.
Last month he made his debut with the U21s as he started the Bristol Street Motors Trophy tie against Blackpool at Bloomfield Road.
