The 23-year-old defender, a graduate of Liverpool’s Academy, rejoins the League Two club having spent the 2022-23 campaign in Wales.
Lewis, who is a versatile left-sided player, made 28 appearances for County across all competitions last term, before seeing his campaign end prematurely due to injury.
The former England U20 international moved on loan to French side Amiens SC in August 2020, having made his one senior appearance for the Reds in an FA Cup fourth-round clash against Shrewsbury Town in February 2020.
He has since spent time on loan with Plymouth Argyle and Livingston and will now link back up with County once more for the forthcoming season.
