Alexis Mac Allister was alongside his teammates again as Liverpool were put through their paces on Friday ahead of the Premier League encounter with Newcastle United.

The Reds will begin 2024 at Anfield on Monday night under the lights, as Eddie Howe's outfit travel to Merseyside for an 8pm GMT kick-off.

Jürgen Klopp's squad were at work in Kirkby ahead of that contest, completing a session at their AXA Training Centre base.
