Enjoy 44 photos from Liverpool's Monday training session as players returned to the AXA Training Centre ahead of the season resumption.

The Reds are stepping up preparations for Thursday night’s Carabao Cup tie with Manchester City, which kicks off the second stage of the 2022-23 campaign.

Jürgen Klopp’s squad – including the likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Alisson Becker, Fabinho and Jordan Henderson back from World Cup duty – underwent a workout earlier today.
