WATARU ENDŌ
As he continued to settle into life at Liverpool FC and English football, Endō tended to start games in the UEFA Europa League and Carabao Cup, a competition he got his first assist in. The 30-year-old defensive midfielder has since become a Red's favourite and one of the mainstays in the Midfield this season. He is ambitious for success. “We want to win all competitions, the Premier League, Europa League and the cup tournaments,” he said. “I want to get those trophies, but we have to make sure in every game we try to win and we will see at the end of the season…”. He achieved he first of these trophies by playing a key part in the success over Chelsea in the Carabao Cup Final, which is hopefully the first of many of his honours in a red shirt.
