LegalMajor Event - Stadium Regulations
NOTICE: Entry to Anfield Stadium (“Stadium”) is expressly subject to acceptance by the visitor of these Regulations. Entry to the Stadium
shall constitute acceptance of these Regulations.
“LFC” means The Liverpool Football Club and Athletic Grounds Limited.
“Material” means any audio, visual and/or audio-visual material and/or any information or data.
“Promoter” means, as appropriate Live Nation (Music) UK Limited, Marshall Arts Limited, S.J.M. Limited and/or any other third-party promoter nominated by LFC from time to time.
“Stadium” means Anfield Stadium, Anfield, Liverpool L4 0TH together with all other areas in LFC’s ownership including, but not limited to, all spectator zones adjacent to the Stadium, 96th Avenue, Paisley Square and the Fan Village located at the Sir Kenny Dalglish Stand.
These Regulations are in addition to the major event Ticket TERMS & conditions and, where applicable, lfc’s Major Events Hospitality Terms & Conditions.
1. Notwithstanding possession of any ticket, LFC, any authorised steward and/or any police officer may refuse entry to (or eject from) the Stadium any person: (i) that fails (or is likely to fail) to comply with these Regulations or any reasonable instruction issued by an authorised officer/steward of LFC/the Promoter or by a police officer; (ii) whose presence in the Stadium is, or could, constitute a source of danger, nuisance or annoyance to any other person. Any person ejected from the Stadium may also be prevented from attending future events.
2. No guarantees can be given by LFC that an event will take place at a particular time or on a particular date and LFC/the Promoter reserves the right to reschedule the event without notice and without any liability whatsoever, save only to the extent provided pursuant to paragraph 5.
3. In the event of the postponement or abandonment of the event, refunds (if any) will be made in accordance with the ticket terms and conditions.
4. LFC and the Promoter exclude to the maximum extent permitted by law any liability for loss, injury or damage to persons/property in or around the Stadium (including any car parks).
5. Without prejudice to the generality of paragraph 4, save to the extent provided by paragraph 3 and except in respect of death or personal injury resulting from any negligence of LFC and/or the Promoter, neither LFC nor the Promoter, nor any of their respective officers, employees or agents shall be responsible (whether in tort, contract or otherwise) for: (i) any loss, damage or injury to you or to any property belonging to you in or upon or around the Stadium or any car park, resulting from any cause whatsoever; (ii) for any loss of profit, loss of use, loss of opportunity or any indirect, economic or consequential losses whatsoever; and/or (iii) any losses arising from any cancellation, postponement or rearrangement of the event including but not being limited to any indirect or consequential loss or damage, loss of enjoyment or travel/accommodation costs. Neither LFC nor the Promoter shall be responsible for any interruptions and/or restrictions to the view of an event and/or other impact on your enjoyment of the event caused by virtue of (a) the position of the seat; and/or (b) the actions of any other event goer.
6. All persons seeking entrance to the Stadium acknowledge LFC’s right to search any person entering and to refuse entry to or eject from the Stadium any person refusing to submit to such a search.
7. Bags should be A5 size or smaller, backpacks, holdalls, luggage and/or cushions will not be permitted.
8. LFC may prohibit any item which it deems may ruin the viewing experience or compromise the safety of other event goers. The following items are not permitted into the Stadium: firearms, knives or weapons of any kind, any article that might be used as a weapon and/or compromise public safety, illegal drugs or substances, alcoholic beverages, signs, banners or flags on poles, staffs or selfie sticks, balls, fireworks, animals (except service animals to aid persons with disabilities), glass, cans, aluminium bottles, flammable liquids, laser pens/pointers, food, masks and helmets (excluding face coverings designed to protect against virus transmission), large golf umbrellas, laptop computers, iPads, cameras or tablets with filming capabilities, flash photography or other lighting devices and any article that might be used as a weapon and/or compromise public safety.
9. The use of threatening behaviour, foul, racist, homophobic or abusive language is strictly forbidden and may result in arrest and/or ejection from the Stadium.
10. The Stadium is a no smoking stadium, smoking or the use of electronic cigarettes is strictly forbidden.
11. Mobile telephones are permitted, provided that they are used for personal and private use only which, for the avoidance of doubt and by way of example only, shall not include the capturing, logging, recording, transmitting, playing, issuing, showing, or any other communication of any Material for any commercial purposes); and (ii) no Material that is captured, logged, recorded, transmitted, played, issued, shown or otherwise communicated by a mobile telephone or other mobile device may be published or otherwise made available to any third parties including, without limitation, via social networking sites.
12. LFC will prevent any person entering the Stadium whilst drunk or under the influence of drugs.
13. The following acts could result in a person being ejected from the Stadium:
- the throwing of any object within the Stadium without lawful authority or excuse; and/or
- entry onto the staged area or any area to which event goers are not generally admitted without lawful authority or excuse.
14. All persons entering areas of the Stadium with reserved seats may only occupy the seat allocated to them by their ticket. Movement between the different levels of the Stadium without the express permission of a steward and/or police officer is prohibited. Pitch access will only be granted to those holding a valid ticket for that area of the Stadium.
15. Please do not stand in seated areas whilst the event is in progress.
16. The obstruction of gangways, access ways, exits and entrances, stairways and like places is strictly forbidden. No person shall be permitted to climb any structures within the Stadium.
17. Save as set out in paragraph 11, no person may capture, log, transmit, play, issue, show or otherwise communicate (by digital or other means) any Material in relation to the event, any artist or other persons present in the Stadium, nor may they bring into the Stadium or use within the Stadium (or provide to, facilitate or otherwise assist another person to use within the Stadium) any equipment or technology which is capable of capturing, logging, recording, transmitting, playing, issuing, showing or otherwise communicating (by digital or other means) any such Material.
18. The copyright, database rights and any other intellectual property rights in and to all Material that you produce at the Stadium in relation to the event, any artist or other persons present in the Stadium (whether produced in breach of paragraph 16 above, or pursuant to paragraph 16 above, or otherwise) is hereby assigned (including by way of present assignment of future copyright pursuant to section 91 of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988) to the Promoter.
19. No goods (including literature) of any nature may be offered, either free or for sale, by any person within the Stadium.
20. Tickets are not transferable and may not be offered for resale without the prior written permission of LFC and/or the Promoter or otherwise in accordance with the relevant ticket terms and conditions. Any tickets offered for sale may be confiscated.
21. CCTV cameras are in use in and around the Stadium to assist LFC in safety and security management. LFC may use CCTV recordings themselves or pass to any relevant law enforcement agency any recording for evidential purposes or where it has a statutory requirement to do so.
22. By entering the Stadium, all persons are acknowledging that photographic images and/or audio, visual and/or audio-visual recordings and/or feeds (and/or stills taken therefrom) may be taken of them and may also be used, by way of example and without limitation, in televised coverage of the event and/or for promotional, training, editorial or marketing purposes by LFC and/or the Promoter and entry into the Stadium constitutes consent to such use. Information about LFC’s use of your personal data will be brought to your attention by LFC (see for example any applicable privacy policy on LFC’s webpage, signage and/or other forms of announcement in or around the Stadium). 23. All ticket holders agree that the events for which the tickets have been purchased are in public, and that their appearance and actions inside the Stadium are public in nature and that they shall have no expectation of privacy with regard to their actions or conduct at events.
24. Further to paragraph 22, if such person is under 18 years of age, the parent, guardian or responsible adult who is accompanying them into the Stadium shall be deemed to have provided consent on their behalf.
25. Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult of 18 years or over. LFC reserves the right to remove any child, who in the opinion of LFC, appears to be under 16 years of age and unaccompanied. The standing area of the Stadium is not suitable for children under 14 years of age. LFC reserves the right to remove any child (and or their responsible adult(s)), who in the opinion of LFC appears to be under 14 years of age from the standing area of the Stadium or the Stadium itself for safety reasons.
26. Before entering the Stadium, you may be asked to undertake temperature checks and/or other testing regarded as prudent in order to safeguard against COVID-19 risk. At all times whilst present in the Stadium, persons must comply with any and all instructions of any steward and/or any police officer, including without limitation any instructions regarding health and safety such as those in respect of communicable diseases (and all persons shall comply with any government guidelines in respect of the same).
27. Failure to comply with any instruction from LFC, any steward or the police may lead to immediate ejection from the Stadium.
