Sul gioco stesso...

Penso che ovviamente il primo tempo sia stato difficile. Erano molto più a loro agio con la palla in termini di sovraccarico alla schiena, con Bernardo [Silva] che cadeva molto. Era difficile per i nostri avversari esercitare pressione su di loro, ma non credo ci fossero ancora molti pericoli. Ovviamente [Jeremy] Doku ha giocato una partita fantastica, quindi a volte è stato difficile per Conor [Bradley] nell'uno contro uno. Continuo a pensare che non eravamo molto nei guai.

Sul fatto che la sconfitta sia stata simile a quelle recenti...

Difficile dirlo perché penso che ci siano stati dei bei momenti nella partita, ma si gioca anche contro il Man City in casa. Loro possono mettere in difficoltà tutti gli avversari, quindi, come ho detto, dovremmo concentrarci su questa situazione quando torneremo, resteremo in forma e poi ricominciamo a lottare per ritrovare la costanza e continuare a lavorare. Altrimenti non cambia. Devi andare avanti. Sembra noioso, ma è quello che è. Non abbiamo intenzione di rinunciare a nulla. Siamo a novembre e devi essere pronto per una lunga stagione e una grande battaglia davanti a noi. Non vedo l'ora, ma vogliamo avere le stesse prestazioni che abbiamo avuto nelle ultime due [partite]. Non è una garanzia, quindi dobbiamo andare avanti.

In football there are obviously key decisions. That obviously happens and the officials are deciding this and we have to deal with it on the pitch - both teams. I think there is no point to discuss this from my point of view. The reality is that we lost here 3-0 and that is a big blow, definitely.

On the game itself...

I think obviously the first half was difficult. They were much more comfortable on the ball in terms of creating an extra overload in the back with Bernardo [Silva] dropping a lot. It was difficult for our front guys to get the pressure on them, but I still don't think there was a lot of danger. Obviously Doku played a fantastic game so it was difficult for Conor [Bradley] at times in the one-v-one. I still think we weren't much in trouble.

We could've done better of course, especially in possession. Obviously then the decisions and the penalty, the momentum shifts then more to their side and we had to dig deep. In the second half we obviously get a little bit more momentum in possession, but our pressing was just not good enough. The way we did it as a team should've been better. Like I said before the game, it's finding consistency and keep going. Losing hurts always, like it should be, for each and every one of us, but 3-0 especially. Now we go to our countries, stay fit and be ready for a big run after that.

On whether the defeat was similar to recent losses...

It's difficult to say because I think there were some good moments in the game, but you play also against Man City at home. They can make it difficult for each and any opponent so, like I said, the focus should be on reflecting on this when we come back, stay fit and then fight again to find the consistency and keep working. It doesn't change otherwise.

You have to keep going. It sounds boring - but it is what it is. We're not going to give up whatsoever. We're in November and you have to be ready for a long season and a big fight ahead of us. I'm looking forward to that, but we want to have the same performances that we had in the last two [games]. It's not a guarantee so we have to keep going.
