ReazioneAlexis Mac Allister: «È davvero una buona giornata, ma dobbiamo migliorare»
Alexis Mac Allister è rimasto soddisfatto del suo ultimo successo con il Liverpool contro il Nottingham Forest, ma vuole che i Reds aumentino i loro livelli di prestazioni.
La squadra di Arne Slot si è assicurata una vittoria per 1-0 al City Ground domenica pomeriggio in Premier League.
Il centrocampista ha segnato al settimo minuto di recupero al termine della gara da distanza ravvicinata guadagnando tre punti.
Il gol nel finale è arrivato dopo che Mac Allister aveva visto un altro tentativo precedente escluso dal VAR per pallamano all'89° minuto della partita.

.«Sentimenti contrastanti ad essere onesti», ha detto Mac Allister a Sky Sports dopo la partita. «Adoro segnare, amo vincere, quindi in questo senso penso che sia davvero una bella giornata.
«D'altra parte, non credo che abbiamo giocato molto bene. Ci sono molte cose che dobbiamo migliorare, ma è sempre più bello quando vinci».
Se credeva che il Liverpool avrebbe avuto un'altra chance dopo che il suo primo tentativo era stato escluso, ha detto: «Pensavo di averne un'altra anche prima del rimbalzo.
«Ho detto a Hugo [Ekitike] che questo sarebbe stato il nostro obiettivo e la nostra situazione. Non so se era in quello o nell'altro, ma ho avuto un'altra opportunità e sono contento che sia arrivata
».In seguito ha aggiunto a BBC Sport: «Dobbiamo analizzare [la partita] durante la settimana, ma il primo tempo non è stato affatto buono. Posizionamento, intensità, pressione: niente è andato bene. Beh, forse come abbiamo difeso il nostro box, perché abbiamo bloccato alcuni tiri.
«Ma non andava bene e non era nei nostri standard. Nel secondo tempo non direi che sia stato buono, ma è andato un po' meglio. Abbiamo avuto delle occasioni e la cosa più importante è aver vinto la partita».
"Mixed feelings to be honest," Mac Allister told Sky Sports post-match. "I love scoring, I love winning, so in that sense I think it's a really good day.
"But on the other hand, I don't think we played very well. There's plenty of things we need to improve, but it's always nicer when you win."
On whether he believed Liverpool would get another chance after his first effort was ruled out, he said: "I thought I was going to get another one even before the throw-in.
"I told Hugo [Ekitike] that this was going to be our goal and our situation. I don't know if it was in that one or the next one, but I had another opportunity and I'm glad that it went in."
He later added to BBC Sport: "We need to analyse [the game] during the week but the first half wasn't good at all. Positioning, intensity, pressing - nothing was good. Well, maybe how we defended our box, because we blocked some shots.
"But it was not good and it was not our standards. In the second half, I wouldn't say it was good, but it was a little bit better. We had some chances and the most important thing is that we won the game."
