A clever forward with an eye for goal, Tom Scott made just 18 appearances in four years with Liverpool.

<p>He had enjoyed a promising debut at Preston North End on March 14, 1925 and followed it up by scoring the first of his four goals for the club at Leeds United a fortnight later.</p><p>The only time he represented the Reds in the FA Cup came when he was a member of the team beaten 3-1 in the fourth-round tie at Fulham on January 4, 1926.</p>
