Tom Rogers made his debut for Liverpool in a last-day-of-the-season encounter with Sheffield United at Anfield in April 1907 and played a dozen First Division games the following season.
Rogers started as first-choice in the 1908-09 season, but was seriously injured versus Nottingham Forest on October 1, 1908 and was out of the game for 13 months.
Once he returned he got a run of 14 league matches midway through the 1909-10 season.
In the next term, Rogers only featured in two consecutive fixtures, against Forest and Manchester City towards the end of January 1911, which proved to be his last as a Liverpool player.
