    Edmund Hancock was a forward who played in the last nine league matches of the 1931-32 First Division campaign and made one more appearance for Liverpool the following season.

    He made his debut on March 28, 1932 when Huddersfield Town won 3-0 at Anfield and his final appearance was as part of the team beaten by Middlesbrough on home soil on February 2, 1933.

    In between those two defeats, Hancock had scored twice, an 88th-minute winner against Chelsea at Anfield on April 6 and the first goal in a 2-1 victory over Arsenal, also at home, three days later.

    He moved on to Burnley in early 1933.
