<p>He made his debut on March 28, 1932 when Huddersfield Town won 3-0 at Anfield and his final appearance was as part of the team beaten by Middlesbrough on home soil on February 2, 1933.</p><p>In between those two defeats, Hancock had scored twice, an 88th-minute winner against Chelsea at Anfield on April 6 and the first goal in a 2-1 victory over Arsenal, also at home, three days later.</p><p>He moved on to Burnley in early 1933.</p>
