Jesus Fernandez Saez, aka Suso, arrived at Liverpool from Cadiz CF in the summer of 2010.

His senior break came in 2012-13 under Brendan Rodgers after two years impressing with the Academy and reserve sides.

After travelling on the club's North America tour during the preceding summer, Suso was given his official debut on September 20, 2012 in a Europa League victory over Young Boys.

Three days later the talented attacking midfielder was introduced as a substitute against Manchester United for his Premier League bow.

He totalled 20 appearances in all competitions during that campaign and then, to continue his senior development, returned to Spain for a season-long loan with La Liga outfit Almeria at the outset of the 2013-14 campaign, where he turned out 35 times and bagged three goals.

Back with the Reds, Suso played and scored once in the first half of the next season – in a League Cup tie against Middlesbrough at Anfield.

In January 2015, though, he said goodbye by making a permanent move to Italian club AC Milan.
